DR. HERMOGENES P. Villareal, chairman of the 33rd Asia Pacific Dental Congree (APDC) 2011, has announced that preparations for the forthcoming congress are now on their final stages. To be held on May 1-6, 2011 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), the congress promises to be the biggest gathering of dentists in the whole of the Asia-Pacific region and neighboring countries. It boasts of 30 confirmed topnotch foreign speakers and a wholeday pre-Congress lecture on May 1, 1011 lecture by Dr. Jeffrey P. Okeson, a world-renowned author of the 6th edition of the Management of Temporomandibular Disorders and Occlusion published by C.V. Mosby Publishers and 22o other publications in the field of occlusion and oral pain. The event will be the last APDC Congress in the Philippines with a repeat only after three decades. To date, 222 foreign and local dental exhibition booths have already filled and fun-filled social events and exciting tours of the country’s scenic spots have been lined up.
